Final Cut Pro X is a new piece of technology that I have never used before, and I have recently had a practice with creating a small and simple music video. The most daunting thing about using new software is all the different things that you have to learn, like the new terminology and finding where certain tools are that allow you to express your ideas.
A popular tool i have found already is the blade tool, this allows me to get certain parts deleted or separated from my timeline, the editing using the blades is easy as i used it to make sure the music was synced up to the actors lips, dues to the medium shots this made it easy to do so.

Research of Music Video 3- Geri Halliwell It's Raining Men
This close up shot of Geri Halliwell's lower back shows off what this she is trying to show the public, she is revealing that she has lost weight and is a changed person, her clothing also represents her sexuality as she is wearing a bra and sport wear. This also shows the back tattoo that she has this could represent her growing up and becoming more of a individual.
This shot is crucial to the video as it shows Geri as a attractive, fit person which she wasn't really represented as in the spice girls, but this song and music video is the beginning of her come back so she is being shown as different person and a strong character.
This shot shows another performer watching on as Geri is dancing, but as the dance progresses the hype around her coming back shows that there is still a following for her, this also represents her within a school environment as the song is part of the film Fame.
- I like the story within the video and the growth of people enjoying the dancing within the video.
- Geri within the video is always changing outfit this makes the each part of the video represent something different.
